I purchased Two (2) New NB15 - Federal Pioneer 15 Amp Single Pole Bolt-On Circuit Breaker. The order was processed quickly and I received the breakers the very next morning. The disappointing part was opening the package to find two used or refurbished breakers. They have dust/dirt and markings on both of the breakers. I'm sure they'll be fine (at least I'm hoping they will be). However, I'm disappointed they're listed as "NEW".

I don't think you'll have any issues here. We see this occasionally with branch breakers because they come in unsealed cartons from the factory and whether they're on the warehouse shelf or in your panel, they tend to gather dust. This is normal and shouldn't impact functionality.

If you look at the screws in your picture, you'll notice there's no evidence of usage at all.

Either way, we can easily send you replacements overnight if you prefer to do an exchange and regardless, your breakers are covered by warranty.
