Even after holding an order for 3 months to find out it was the wrong parts, David allowed me to return the wrong part and did his best to try and find the correct part for my application.

I ordered a few items from Canada Breakers and the items shipped and arrived promptly. Their website is clean and very user friendly. I had some questions about my order and their customer service was outstanding. I will definitely be using Canada Breakers for my next order.

Previous resident had a spa, and a 50 amp gfci breaker for it. My plan was to remove that old breaker, and put the spd in its place. I first tried one of those big suckers that mounts to your box through a knockout. No knockouts on the side of my panel box though, and the wires weren't long enough. I didn't want to use wire nuts in my panel because it seemed sketch, so I was SOL. Then, I discovered the br250sur, but it was a breaker in addition to surge protection, and I didn't need a breaker, just the type 2 spd. Plus, they were a nightmare to find. Then I found the brsurge! Just what I needed. Since I had the breaker slots already out, I just removed the old 50 amp gfci breaker, put this in, and was done in 5 minutes. (I had already removed the old wires and conduit from the box long ago...also, I had reinstalled a conduit cap to cover the hole on the bottom that the spa had used.)

Tip: Might already know that Eaton has the 2 types of breakers, ch and br. I assumed I had CH, because many if my breakers say "Cutler-Hammer" on them. But, in fact I have BR type. The color is they key to make the determination if you have an Eaton box. If your breakers have brown switches use CH, if they are black switches, use BR.

I had one in my old panel and it is very easy to install and works very well. Before having it in my old panel i went through 2 phones due to electrical storms.
